These went well Al, the 98' particularly good!
Obviously needed a little breathing time.
I wish i had another decanter.
I need to start drinking all these old wines, they won't last forever...
In fact what started it was my parents where up for my sons bday so i went and dug a few up to drink over the weekend.
I think a few cases may have not held up well, fingers crossed.
I grabbed 1 of each box i have, and boxed up 2 boxes and gave them to my dad to take home.
Told him to open them all, slowly and taste them and write a list and let me know if they are good or bad etc as he knows his shit and has mates who own winners in Griffith (my bro also works for Riverina Estate).
If they are shite, ill just pull them and he can take them home next time he's here and make Red Wine Vinegar out of them!

yep fingers crossed, nothing worse than great wine gone off, makes you realise that drinking the second bottle just saves it from the sink eventually....my reasoning anyway

Celebrated my mates birthday with the above wines, and some nice wagyu ribeyes.
