Halliday didn't like this vintage and nominated it as drink by 2003, but it lived a little longer than that. This was the last of 2 dozen I bought back in '96. This was the only one of the 24 that was a little below par. The Grange was supplied by a mate. By the way, the Entree was a whole BBQ Coral Trout, washed down with a Xanadu Chardy!.

My invite must have been lost in the post. Had both a 90 and 91 a couple of years ago. The 90 is awesome but the 91 was drinking well. The 98 will be the one to watch as well. A great vintage year for SA.

    Love the Heathcote.

I haven't sampled yet but Dan's were doing a members 2 for 1 on Mount Langi Shiraz this week at East Bris. Hard to not buy any $20+ wine for half price.
    Cheers

So many good wines out there, and so many bargains on offer. I have over 400 bottles cellared. And that is just the good stuff! I can't keep up with the inflow! but I am trying hard!

Hux I had a contact a little while back and managed get old of a heap of the Mount Langi Shiraz as well as the Billi Billi Pino Grigio.

From memory I paid about $6 a bottle for the red.

    Solid drop.

Was out for lunch yesterday with a supplier and I had a couple of glasses of the Hugh Hamilton 2012 "The Rascal" Shiraz. This retails, as per Crackawines, for about $26, but this drinks like $80+ quite easily.

Thanks Daves. I've passed those on to her. I'm pretty sure she has had the Coriole.

I buy most of my wine from Vinomofo these days. They have deals from time to time on imported wines. I bought an Italian mix that included Sensi Sangiovese that was quite good, and quite reasonably priced as well. It is a great Pizza Wine.

She likes the Dal Zotto that has only been found in a few shops. She doesn't drink much, so online orders might be a bit ambitious since you probably need to get a few for value.

I don't mind a bottle of the Coriole with a good homemade Parma.
