Not sure what the odds of a pull-out are, but the wee fella's $450 is looking shaky 16 months out.

Just read your post again. Are you trying to lower our bet? Wasn't it $100 a hole? ie. $50 each. So over 18 holes is $900 each.

If you are getting worried and want to lower the bet, just say so.

All I need is 6 months of regular comp games towards end of next year and I'll have you covered.

BTW, where do you want to play this now that Camden Lakeside will be gone. Riverside Oaks is a good public venue but it's a bit far from where I am. How about at Dunheved? There always seems to be heaps of spare tee times there on Sundays.

Sorry, I should have stated, those scores were for 18 holes... though on your most recent offerings, seven or eight-over each side should be good enough to take a lion's share of the money!

Lakeside will be gone by then? So work is actually starting up? Wow. I didn't think I'd see the day.

No need to decide on a venue yet. We'll see where we both are late next year.
