was thinking the same thing, when i browse Ozgolf using my mobile (WM5) it seems to download a hellava lot of data, and the way the layout appears is crap.
I am sure there is a plugin somewhere?
Good idea !

You could just achieve it with a stripped-down style. There are bound to be a heap out there, otherwise it shouldn't take more than a few hours to knock one up.
Although a subdomain like http://m.ozgolf.net is generally a handy thing to have, to stop having to switch styles when you go back to your PC.
It sounds like it could be handy.
I found this:
http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=151186
This looks pretty good when used in conjuction with a stripped-down style. It would allow for the m.ozgolf.net subdomain to have a different style, eventhough they would both point to the same root directory.
I did some quick googling and it seemed rather simple (for someone that knows what they are doing)
Not even a link to your google search, Blakey?
i googled: vbulletin + mobile the first 3 hits i looked at
http://www.google.com.au/search?q=vb...ient=firefox-a
The first one is what I linked above.
I couldn't see anything on the second link.
The third is from 2004.
When is the payment arriving in my bank account?
We need the W3C here? You realise the C stands for Consortium?
I would offer my services as a web dude, but with that comes obligation and responsibility. I wouldn't want to mess with a live site, but I doubt any admin would be willing to provide a snapshot of the current site's database and root dir to tinker with.
At least i wouldn't.
I can look at installing the mod linked above, but a couple of days turnaround is unrealistic. In fact a couple of weeks is. The demand doesn't appear to be overwhelming either, but it's at the top of the pretty much non-existent list with an upgrade to the software overall (the next subversion has been released for a while).
Interesting concept.
About ****ing time.
Did you see the link I had above?
Works great.....thanks to whoever, out there in interwebz land.
