AndiG I'm trying to get oragnised for the 8th, if I can't I will forfeit the match as it may be unlikely that I can get a free Sat or Sun between now and the end of the year and I don't want to hold up the progress of this event.

    Hi all,

Sadly, can't make it on 8th Nov. ST.AB is great from the one time I played there. Hope to play there again soon. Enjoy!

Kev, maybe we can do a weekday (as previously discussed) golf at St.AB another time and maybe tee it up with FG and JB (my matchplay) since it's close to them.

Anyone played there lately with the new management? Has the 2nd course opened yet?

Andi, I can't make Sunday, so the match is yours.

Kev from my stand point the match b/w Swanny and yourself has now been conceded by Swanny and you progress through to Rd 2.

    Thoughts anyone?

Ok thanks. Can't make the 8th, but if JD can let me know when he's free (even during the week) I'll free some time

Andi, I forfeited so that we can get this run and won.

I can't speak for the other matches. We didn't get last years finshed, if we don't get this years finished I don't think I'll bother again.

    Agreed Chappy.

I think we should set a date, maybe next Friday, for all round 2 participants to either agree to a date in early December or forfeit, then do the same for the semis, with a view to playing the final (or somebody winning by mega-forfeit) in January.

Everybody who is still in should state their availability in this thread at the very least.

Still not playing enough GolfLink | Slightly less terrible stats brought to you by Golfshot - F: 57%, GIR: 23%, UD: 14%, P: 34. Wow, improvement! | Nickent brand ho or tightarse? You be the judge!

I will PM all remaining golfers in the VIC Matchpaly champs.

Cut-off for Rnd 2 will be Sunday the 6th of December, all matches still outstanding after this date will be decided by coin toss performed by myself and witnessed by Bruce.

Cutoff for Semi's will be Sunday the 20th of December, all matches still outstanding after this date will be decided by coin toss performed by myself and witnessed by Bruce.

Final will not be decided by coin toss but will be played. It would be great if this could be completed by the end of 2009, if not,it will be no later than the first Sunday in 2010.

I hope that the VIC team don't mind me taking this stance as I really want this thing completed as we have been unable to get our collective sh!t together for teh last few years and it is making us look like a rable.

    Comments welcomed.

Take that attitude into next year and things will work a lot better. Everybody enjoys a bit of tough love.

My only thought is that you should only use the coin toss if both players are keen to play but can't get a time together. Anybody who proposes a serious tee time wins if their opponent doesn't respond. Anybody who doesn't respond to your PM should forfeit as well.

On behalf of my husband - he will have to give you the match V205. We are in the middle of selling the servo at the moment - hopefully settlememnt will take place on Monday. Then we still have a lot of work to get done - then we go on a cruise next week. So there is no time for golf!
Good luck for the next round and I promise that both Johna and I will commit to this event next year.
    Go the winner!!!!!!!!!!!

As we had an number of odd entries...er I mean an odd number of entries.

Kev and JD_Frank go through to the semi's by default.

I would suggest that Kev take on AndiG and JD_Frank take on V205 so that we can get this bugger completed.

Anyone who doesn't think that this is a good idea, post why.

I'm hoping to play JD next week, just waiting on a reply from him to my PM.

Someone make up my mind on who I'm playing.
