Well if Swanny & Kev, Bruce & Vincent can get their matches played over the next 3 weeks how about I do a day at Spring Valley on Sunday the 18th October at around 12.00 for the 2nd round matches.

    Good suggestion Lazza,
Maybe a date in mid October to have the Rnd 1 games played is the answer.
I am going to suggest the 18th of October as the cut-off.

All those in favour say 'I'.

Forfeits or coin tosses are a good alternative for those that can't get their respective schedules right.

And anybody who doesn't respond should be a candidate for a forfeit on the 18th of October, I'm thinking.

OK, we have in favour: -
    Chappy
    AndiGold
    Larry
    Kev

I will PM the 1st round players to get their buy in as this looks like the only possible solution to at least getting Rd 1 completed.

Swanny is sick at the moment - he apologises for his lack of action around here.

    What about this Sunday then?

Where shall we play? St Andrews Beach is now pay for play and I'm keen to have a look at that.

Thanks to Bruce for organising the tee-time at Sandringham today. Perfect weather and not too busy (surprise surprise at Sandy!). We also had the good company of Kev and FearsomeKoala. Sandringham was in very good playing condition.

I'm not much for remembering details of a round of golf but it was a close match at the start with no more than 1 or 2 between us. At the turn around, I was 2 up.

Back 9, Bruce lost a bit of form while I was able to maintain some consistency to capitalise and won a few more holes. At the end, it was 5/4.

Thanks also to Bruce and Kev from coming from the west side of town to Sandy.

Kev I understand that Swanny is unwell (Bruce mentioned), if he is unable to commit to some sort of outcome by this weekend then I would suggest that perhaps you are the winner by default.

I'm with chappy on that one. The show must go on, and it's not like we're playing for much here.

So what are the deadline dates for rounds 2,3 and the final? Less than 3 months to go in the year!
