Bought and sold in a day

Bought a newish big headed driver to see if it would out perform my old R580xd. I didn't really need it, and thought unless it's noticeably longer and/or straighter it's gone.

Picked it up 1pm Saturday. Took it out for 9 holes Saturday arv. Not overly impressed. Went for another 9 holes early Sunday. By the 3rd hole I had pretty much decided it was going back on ebay. Gave it another few holes to try convince me. Nup.

Relisted it around 8am Sunday morning.

Bought and sold (relisted) in 19 hours. Can anybody beat that ?

I am pretty sure there have been more than a few occasions where items have been on-sold while they were still in transit.

I did something very non ho-ish on Satdy, I demo'd a driver !

And thank **** I did, cause if I had bought one sight unseen I would've fitted Mike's criteria perfectly ! Bloody Titleist crap !

D2 9.5 stiff Diamana, hit it left and right, went back to the Mac and smacked it fine.

Distance on the Titty seemed ok, maybe the grip was too thin, but I did hit a block up the 9th that seemed to spin a lot, a hell of a lot !

The mac is much flatter (even in 10.5), dunno, I'd still like to try a 10.5 in a stiff Voodoo but my pro tells me finding that combo to demo will be tough ! I might even be better off with a D3 in a Voodoo.

Yeh, my d2 9.5 launches high even with the proto 65s?
Which diamana, i think the whites are the low launchers.
Dont think i will bother re-shafting, might have to let mine go!

This was the 909 D2 (460CC), Titleist Diamana stiff. Good looking head, more spunk than the Mac.

To be fair, I am trying to compress more so probably the loft did my head in a little.

Only pitfall is that sometimes it takes me 3 or so hits to truly appreciate a new stick. Your MMV tho.
