why do people get so........................i don't know cocky when they are behind a keyboard? Your comment may well be true, and then again it may not, a lot of water has passed under the water since this story, so who are you to get on your high horse?

He didn't say he was a cockhead, just that he sounded like one from the story.
    It's hard to disagree.

What were you hoping or thinking the responses would be?

Yeah, that may be true, but it not smart to just blab out something like that about someones blood, i find it hard to disagree with that also.

I didn't just blab it out mate, you told a long story about how your brother carried on like a tool at a golf tournament. I'm struggling to understand what it is you thought would be the response.

I'm just struggling to believe you're genuinely surprised that a few of us think your brother sounds like a cockhead.

Hey look at it this way if i knew you and thought your mum was Sl** i would not tell you that out of politeness.

But there becomes a point when politeness stops.

So how about we leave it at that?

The difference being that you spelt out for us just what a knob he was being to do what he did.

If I came on here and told a story about my mum deepthroating the entire PGA Tour I could hardly ark up when people started to draw the only obvious conclusion that story provided.

he probably thought someone would say that he had carried on like a tool, but that doesnt mean he is one (or worse).

You expected laughter, Zigwah, didn't you?

The tone of the post certainly wasn't one of regret, that it should not have happened. In fact it was Scott Laycock, who you named and shamed for not wanting to have a drink with you afterwards, who you were painting as the villain.

So who was the villain of the day, Scott Laycock or your drunk brother?

    I laughed me head off.

Fair dinkum, if Scott Laycock got cranky cos some clown rolls a cart and spills all his grog anywhere (after 16 holes) whilst everyone is walking towards a tee, then he needs to lighten up - A LOT.

Its a pro-am for petes sake, he should be expecting to spend plenty of time searching for golf balls, putting up with inane questions, and distractions. That should have been the highlight of his day!

Do you think this was the only incident of the day involving the brother? I don't.

would just walk up to anyone in the street and talk to them like that?

You must be a young man because you have a lot to learn about human nature.

Please do not take the fact that i am not biting to your persistence as a joke, lightly, enough is enough.

    Is that fair enough?

Yes it was so you shouldn't assume, as i have previously stated in this thread that that was the case.

I'm serious. You're yet to actually express remorse for how your brother acted, and slandered a good man's name in the process, you may have answered "something like that| to MTB's post at the bottom of the last page, but it really does seem you just don't get it.

If you hadn't named the pro, I would be far less bothered.

I posted my opinion. People do that in forums.

I find it hard to believe that someone continually drinking (and the behaviour that generally goes along with that) would not grate on a sober playing partner's nerves.

you are the one who just does not get it. Is Scott lacycock related to you? Or do you know him personally, as in could ring him up, not just i saw him a few times and played with him
