    Default Golf shoes

I'm going shopping in the next day or three for a pair of shoes, just wondering what all you guys thoughts on a good pair. I was thinking going footjoy, but there is a plethora of styles out there atm, what are the best ones do you think, i'm after comfort and waterproof. Is there any other brands i should be looking at?

    Hey,

Go to a shop and try all the ones in your price range. Footjoy is a great shoe. Make sure you get one that is comfortable as shoes are one of the most important things in a golf game.

I have been happy with the Adidas Powerband's. Comfy for a wide foot like mine.

Have heard good things about Ecco's of late.

Ecco or Footjoy... for me the Nike's aren't comfortable while the Adidas only work for narrower feet. Great thing with footjoy is that they come in wide and narrow fittings.

Footjoy Dryjoys. I won't wear anything else. Worth the $$ you pay for them.

I don't have super wide feet, but I tried the wide version of the 360 when I was back in the motherland and they were way too tight. Ditto for the Footjoy Realfits.

I think the Adidas are super sexy, but they just don't fit my feet well.

I am currently rotating between two footjoy classics dry premiers and two footjoy classics tour. Blemished ones are available at pretty good price from golflocker and golfshoesonly.

They are US based, Florida I think. I bought three during the .9x exchange rate, so it was a rather good deal. Shipping was around US$60 for the first pair, second pair is a little bit more. Not too bad considering classics price in Australia runs close to $500.

I've got the Adidas Tour 360 Wides and they fit ok. They are not quite as wide as my Footjoy Dryjoy Wides, but they are fine. They're both good shoes, but until I've worn this pair of Adidas for a couple of years, I'll give the quality/durability nod to the Footjoys.
