Pacific Pro Shop would be a good place to work, although you are a good bloke - so that rules you out!

Shame to hear about it, DC. Now is not the best time to be looking for a new job.

Although, I did hear about a temp vacancy that has opened up. I reckon it would suit you to a tee.

Dave, be careful what you do with it, the idea is that it is compensation for the fact that you might not get a job for a long time. The waiting period for the dole is quite a while as well, make sure you go see them immediately.

If you are also thinking of putting some of it aside apart from more smokes, cheap rum and expensive hookers, get some financial advise as the redundancy payment is taxed differently, than normal income.

Blessing in disguise mate. You'll be better off without the CLInts.

Ever thought of becoming a QANTAS engineer?

They are that short of them they may indeed employee him. Are ringing any ex employee at the moment trying to get them back.

    Cheers Moo,

I am looking at the Ambulance call centre at the moment.

Or I may give driving a bus a go.

they're desperate for bus drivers at the moment. Dealing with drunken grubs aside, it's probably not a bad job. Public service too!
