When I first subscribed to this forum I assumed that it was a place where golfers could 1) meet; 2) share their thoughts and experiences not always about golf; 3) and share their opinions and consider those of others.
What I have found is an obsessive owner driving everything and stiffling debate.

The following is an e-mail I just received from the owner.

This is a warning to keep your thoughts and feelings on how this site is run away from the board. If you have a problem with the site, email admin@thehackersparadise.com and they will address your needs.
We received far too many messages last night complaining of a comment that you made about the coverage that Brad P did on this site. If you do not like our reviews or our forum we suggest keeping that to yourself. We enjoy the banter and conversation of all of our members and think our community is the best around. You clearly disagree.
This is the last time we will hopefully have to address this.

I joined that place to see what the fuss was about... funnily enough one of the combatants has the Virge_666 avatar, which threw me for a while .

The site admin is a very sensitive guy, if people complained about what razaar said then they are softer than some of the qlders around here

Even if the note from admin was genuine..you gotta love the blokes that poat a thread to say..I won't be playing anymore.

Over the years and over the different forums I've been at there has been some big names that have spat it, posted thier farewell thread and left.
I think the percentage is pretty high on a return too.
