Went down to the demo night at Wembley tonight. Good setup and heaps of stuff to try.

Was interested in trying some irons, sadly didn't hit any of them better than the current bridgestones J36 PC's. Amazing that the chopper sticks weren't that much more forgiving.. (tried G25's, AP1's, i20's etc). No G25 drivers to demo that was a bit dissapoint
You're in big trouble though, pal. I eat pieces of shit like you for breakfast!

For any public course choppers like myself, Makangaroo is looking lovely right now. But the greens are slooooow to putt on. The grass is like the fluffy side of velcro. Left my first ever eagle chance 4 inches short of the hole Very soft too, but the fairways are looking great for a public course thanks to some rain and lower temperatures.

Mubbs have you played Carramar? Leaves Mangers for dead. My mates who play at Mangers weekly have been sooking about the greens for ages.

Good to hear the fairways are doing better. they were copping a lambasting from them as well.

But, it's usually just hats and shirts and stuff so if quality is ok and price is good go for it.
Thanks Simmsy and JC. Might have a look one day to see what the shirts are like.

Looks good, how busy does the course get weekday afternoons? Is it normally easy to get on for a quick 9 about 3pm?

Shadesy played there last week with the former mod megamod. he said the greens were great. i think 12&15 greens are still coming back from vandalism.

hope you've got a handle on your game from the tee.

didnt like the irons much, too much offset.

i haven't had a chance to hit the driver yet but have heard good reports... when i was on the launchy last night the guy reckons i should try the Ping Anser though as lower spin head

Very impressed with Hartfield. If someone hadn't told I would have hardly noticed the greens were only cored a month. Great track. You have to think your way around off the tee, managed to restrain myself most of the day instead of just pulling big dog all day. I'll be back there again next Friday unless its raining.
