Pretty easy track except for 18.

Track is okay, but I don't like backyards and streets where my bad shot possibly ends up. And the construction goes on.

    Were you there today?

So much sand blowing around the course.

We had some little rat arse pick up my playing partners ball on the 3rd hole today.

Yes, played before the comp, thought it may be tough for the competitors

Oh, it was very tough for one competitor in particular.

Did said competitor take delight in vilifying another ozgolfer for his lack of ability before posting 16pts?

You also have more skin pigment than me. I'm not sure how either fact is of comfort to you.

Update on Albany GC. Course still looking great. Volunteer work clearing out under most of the tee trees makes it easier to spot your ball and the Tiger Snakes in the area. Speeds up play quite a bit but still just a chip sideways to get out of most areas.

One or two greens now been hit with dollarspot AGAIN pretty bad. Don't know how they will fix this. 8th, 9th, 18th from memory are REALLY bad. A couple others are a bit ragged but nowhere nears as bad as those 3.

Staying o/n at the Bunbury Golf Resort - minus the clubs (no time)

Course looks like fun; although lots of water

How does it compare to the acclaimed Bunbury GC up the road

Next time will definitely bring clubs but might have time for only 1 round

Yep. Fun little track, very Mickey Mouse in places.

I'd probably do the 9-1 split as well.

I think TC may have been being a little tongue in cheek.

Sanctuary is ok, resorty, mickey mouse etc.

Bunbury is a much better layout, parklands style or something. Interesting course, good elevation change, usually excellent condition. Both 9's start with par 3s which is a little odd I guess. Really good course.

So it's sanctuary for a hit and giggle and Bunbury for a schizzle. Btw: beautiful place!

How did you score a game Wednesday! Even I can't get a spot in Wednesday comp

The extensions are pretty much done on the outside, new putting green just opened. The pro shop moves into the new part of the building the week that the WA open starts third week in April. Course looking good getting into serious prep mode now ...

I was sceptical at the cost but will be great when all done...
You're in big trouble though, pal. I eat pieces of shit like you for breakfast!

Should be nice for you Wednesday Simmsy. Kike rough is starting to get pretty long around the greens. Some difficult lies today...
