Looks like Hartfield members may be leaning on their reciprocal clubs a bit more in the next few weeks.

Was going to take pics, but the group behind us were perpetual whingers about slow play!

1. Bunker was torn up pretty bad and the greenkeepers had more on their minds than raking bunkers this morning.
2. Looked like it was recovering well. Temp green in. Easy 3 putt!
8. Completely resanded. It was probably pretty bad. Temp green. Easy 2 putt.
10. Not much damage, a few marks through the middle.
15. Heaps of action on it. Been resanded. Temp green. Easy 2 putt.
16. Reasonably bad, but a total resanding not needed. Easy birdie.
17. This one was destroyed! Heaps of tyre marks and some real deep ones where they have loaded it up first. Totally resanded. Temp green. Easy 2 putt.

Now look what's happened. Hocko and Rubin have joined KB, taken offence and destroyed Harty.

I chose a good couple weeks to be away.

I just had a thought. I probably know who it is. There was a couple of juniors thrown out of the club a couple of months ago. They had a history of abusing other members and even old Tommy while he was mowing the rough one day. After they were booted they came back and vandalised a couple of members cars. It wouldn't surprise me if they think that by waiting a while nobody would suspect them. They really ARE that dumb.

One of these kids had his dad come down and threaten Tommy for telling him off. He was seriously gonna beat up on him for having a go at his kid.

Yep. Two of 'em. Little r'soles they were too. Damaged the course, abused the members and just generally acted like they owned the place.

Surely a local Copper is a Harty member. Leaving under poor circumstances with a history of disrespect to the course, parents threatening staff etc has to be grounds to have a wee looksy and see if any of them have trail-bikes...

At the very least it will frighten the little brats. Sounds like they are owed a little grief even if they aren't responsible.

Sounds like Harty need some volunteers to stay out there one night and just wait & see...

...won't be the oldies though. They're asleep at around 8. And the OzGolf members would just light a fire, gather round and then just get pissed.
