Agree v. I won't but coke because beer is $1.30 cheaper to take on the course. Granted it's smaller but coke doesn't make Johnny happy.

Pints at the Vines are cheaper at about $7.50. And a pint of shite is $5 (light and mid).

Yes! Lets follow the eastern states because if they are doing it then it must be better.

Why should we pay our own way. Lets milk those poor gullible addictive personality types so we can all have cheaper beer at their expense.

Oh yeah, what we really need is a Harty vs Kennedy Bogan, oops I meant Bay, Ryder Cup style match. Get it into 1 day with 9 holes of foursomes, 9 holes of fourball (scores combined after 1 then 18 holes of stroke. Or whatever combination you want. Or spread it over 2 days with one parkland course and one links course.

I'm sure the great WAnker brains can come up with something we can have as a standalone event on the calendar each year.

Golden thinking V. I'd be in that!

By the way, I just made 15 bets on my iPhone and no one got cheap beer.

I'd be keen for that as well. The ryder cup style sets up nicely for it as well. The only thing would be, how do the other WAnkers fit into it?

I reckon we'd have to make it a weekend deal. 1 day at each course.

I think there are more good guys than bad guys so we should let the bad guys draft a couple of "ring ins" if they want.

    Soft?

I still drink. At least I'm not allergic to it. Maybe you should try drinking it in your allergy bubble.

MW has experienced some difficulty following posts of late - may be attributal to the drink ... or lack of.
