I was trying to forget that hole!

Well, hit a good tee shot to left side of fairway, then hit the gheyest of fades that ended up beneath the hedge that borders the 8th tee. The ball had just rolled far enough that it was on the tee side of the hedge so I could have a restricted swing at it. Actually connected with the ball ok but as it came out, it hit a sign that's on the right side of the tee box which knocked it sideways into the top of the hedge. Took an unplayable and then proceeded to flub it into the bunker. Quality all round!

Now it seems that they've gone and done it again.

But I'm with simmsy on this one, I love playing WAGC. And it is always in good nick. I wish I had joined there instead of Mt Lawley, as I had an interview with them (and was accepted), but went to ML instead
Was it longer than than interview with Rod Morri?

I agree. I quite like the course myself. Its a reciprocal club to The Albany so when I stay North of the City...its usually where I try to head for a comp round.

Feedback has been very positive so far, the view from the deck is pretty good as well.

Played there last week. Condition was typical for Hartfield, greens rolling nice, a few late winter struggles for grass in patches. Better condition than most members courses in the Perth area.

Good call on Harty, it was mint. It was all hands on deck, prepping for the big show JC mentioned I take it.

Played KB last weekend. Also mint. The only other time I had played it, the greens were soft. This time around they were perfect. Quick & receptive.

I love KB. Being a reciprocal club I want to get out and play it more. I suppose first step is to actual get my ass to Perth more than I do.

KB's greens are the best that they have ever been.
