Such a shame the team let him down in 98, should of been 4-0 by half time. Deplorable defending in the second half

In a shock to nobody, Shane MacGowan from The Pogues has gone. Saw them in London in the late 80s/early 90s, sensational.

To be fair, he'd done remarkably well to get this far

This incredible that MacGowan lasted as long as he did.

Henry Kissinger died this week too. The fact that he made it to 100 might be even more remarkable. Most notorious war criminals don’t make it that far.
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

Franz Beckenbauer the line busting centre half of 70s west Germany. Incredible player, excellent manager, suspect administrator.

Jackie Burke, just 10 days short of 102. Owner of Champions GC, mate of Steve Elkington.

Was oldest surviving Masters winner. In the final round that year, was a bit windy that day, he hit driver,9 iron to one of the Par 3's on front 9.

I think Gary Player now the oldest.
