The first hole at my golf club is a reachable Par 5 with a sucker pond 200m off the left, its full of Prov1's hit only once (and AndyP's recycled hot dot) Because all my golf mates are decent blokes like me, a hooked drive earns a bronx cheer, but more often than not anyone who opens his mouth but hasnt hit yet, has given himself the kiss of death, and follows on into the pond. Eventually we all figured it out, now if someone hits it in there, nobody says a word, nobody breathes - not until we are safe in the fairway.

I made an observation in a thread last year that people are increasingly turning away from religion and that I'd to see it continue, which was somehow construed as prying into people's private lives and telling them how to live. The mental gymnastics to come to that ridiculous conclusion is really quite astounding.

There is also other things i do like play golf, cry myself to sleep after golf, mow the lawn, do a spreadsheet on what went wrong at golf, abuse substances and so on, oh, and that work thing too. Not to mention youtube golf instruction videos.Sometimes I dont even look at ozgolf for a whole day ! Shocking i know.
