exactly, there is a couple of hate groups running on facebook with the sole purpose of attacking companies just because they 'associate'. the Alan Jones incident was an example, they posted lists of 20+ companies and urged everyone to smash them all on social media. The end result is for example ANZ bank receiving hundreds of complaiints on social media from people that are not even their customers - and yet they listen.

Its pathetic. where will we get crossword puzzles now?

    Funny you should say that.
We had a new girl start in the design/development area of the business many years ago and some one on the floor said I'm sure I've seen her in in the Home Girls section of Picture a few month back.
Sure enough the edition was found as we always had piles of copies floating around in machine work cupboards. She was very easy going and mentioned it to someone in the design department and said copy was produced and she confirmed it was her.
No way could you go any where near that subject in the work place now.

It’s difficult to raise kids to be resilient when the whole world is trying to turn them into precious petals.

Susan was quite tidy and is now long gone from the company along with any copies of the mag that we may have had for a bit of time. Only the pics are some what blurred in my memory now
Sadly no Mags on the floor for quite a while now.
Gone are the days where some fun used to be had a work.
Too many rules and regulations and corporate ass covering in case some one decides they might be able to gain a free ride by making a complaint about something.

    This is so true.
Getting a bit off topic but it went massively wrong when some idiot(s) decided kids sports were no longer allowed to keep score and no awards for 1st, 2nd or 3rd.
Setting the next generations up for massive failure and issues.
In Life there are Winners and Losers, that will never change.
Sport was the great opportunity to tech kids that at an early age and how to handle being humble/gracious winners and how to handle losing and to work harder to be a winner. All down the drain now.

Greedy Smith from Mental As Anything has passed away.

I met him once, about 15 years ago in Yamba, of all places. He was buying the paper in the newsagent, and I asked him why his roadies or groupies weren't doing it for him. He had a good laugh and said they were all back in the palace doing the sex and drugs, while the rock n roller had to lead a normal life.

He talked to me for about 10 minutes, and told me that he was the one who organised the country tours (as he called them). Seemed a really good bloke.

RIP Holden Commodore. Though in truth the passing was really a couple of years ago and you have been (barely) living as a pale imitation ever since.
