    As a Star Wars fan, the news of Carrie Fisher makes me sad.

    Later in life she was clearly heavily drug affected, prescription or otherwise. Not too surprising that she checked out.

    As BW noted, not everyone is a medical marvel like Keith Richards.

    Honestly, out of all the deaths this year I think it'd probably be the ones at the start (Alan Rickman) and the end (Carrie Fisher) that make me the saddest.
