Default WA 2009 Matchplay - Johnny Canuck is your winner. Bring on 2010.

OK WA boys, we might be light on numbers, but if you build it, they will come. I figure we have 4 forum regulars on the best side of this country, which is a good start. So, don't be shy.
    1. Adlo - gawn
    2. Johnny Canuck - Champion
    3. simmsy - gawn
    4. Golfnut - gawn
    5. Bruce Dickinson - scratched, works too much
    6. IDgolfguy - gawn
    7. rebjon- now known as Zuesgolfer
    8. qbnchopper - scratched, never around OzGolf

    New entrants:

    9. Yossarian
    10. TourFit - gawn

OK so round 1 ends up being: (winners in RED)

    Match 1: adlo def Golfnut 5 & 3
Match 2: Johnny Canuck def simmsy 1 up
Match 3: idgolfguy lost to TourFit 1 down
    Match 4: Zuesgolfer lost to Yossarian 2 & 1

    Round 2 - Semi-finals

adlo lost to Johnny Canuck 5 & 4 @ Kennedy Bay, Wednesday 2/12

OK, OP edited again after the weekend match.

Both semi-finals to be played at Joondalup on 24/11/09. If possible, we will send the matches out in 2's.....

    Joaquin (15) vs SnuggieThePokerman (5)
Destroyer of Bed Rolls (25) vs TourFit The ThreeStripe Talking Tank (10)

I will be MIGHTY impressed if TourFit can defeat Yoss giving away 15 shots......

    Love the match ups.

Yoss is dangerous off that handicap..

I am tipping a 5&4 thrashing, in favour of the iGen-cardigan wearing, Tartan-shorts loving, Bedroll-destroying bandit.

I am predicting our match will be much closer. I hope 18 holes is enough to get a result, I know what you are capable of on the 19th.

Lakes is the easiest 9 to sneak on for the 2nd nine, so we'll have to see.

Don't open that can Yoss...it has chilli in it !!

"AND YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE CHILLI"

    After Sunday, I'm predicting Yoss 10 & 8

Even if he hits that 6" cut shot toe down left handed ALL DAY!

I may abandon the 3Stripes...I'm not worthy, and will punish myself by not wearing it anymore until I can redeem myself!!!

Good point, we will be at their mercy to see where we start. I'll try to book for Dune, but from memory they assign the 9 holes on the day.

    Well done, OP edited.

Yoss through to the final, to play winner of Adlo v. JC.

JC, we need to set a date, as the final needs to be played by the years end as well.

I don't get much mid week golf. Usually Wed afternoons if I start early and can cut out from home early. 3pm or so. I usually only get to Kennedy, but I could enquire about Secret. Sat is comp day. May be able to swing the odd Sunday, but I can't commit too far in advance.

I am happy to play KB if it is easy for you. Wed after 3pm is fine, we will have a result by 15 or 16 knowing the erratic nature of our games together.

If you beat me, you should play Yoss on neutral territory. We can't have you winning all your matches on home soil.
