Default WA 2009 Matchplay - Johnny Canuck is your winner. Bring on 2010.

OK WA boys, we might be light on numbers, but if you build it, they will come. I figure we have 4 forum regulars on the best side of this country, which is a good start. So, don't be shy.

    4. Golfnut - gawn
    5. Bruce Dickinson - scratched, works too much
    6. IDgolfguy - gawn

    8. qbnchopper - scratched, never around OzGolf

    New entrants:

    9. Yossarian
    10. TourFit - gawn

OK so round 1 ends up being: (winners in RED)

Match 2: Johnny Canuck def simmsy 1 up
Match 3: idgolfguy lost to TourFit 1 down

    Round 2 - Semi-finals

I won't get through it, I'm sure, just like I won't tick every course off my UK wishlist, but I will have a hell of a time trying!!

    That is serious.

    I would love to see:
    Barny
    RM
    KH
    Newcastle
    NSW
    National Old & Moonah
    RA
    Metro
    Victoria
    Ellerston

What else? (Cottesloe and LK are on the Perth list)

From memory, I'm supposed to be playing off 27 so you my friend are "GOING DOWN......TO CHINA TOWN!!!!"

Mid week might be the go if you don't mind playing in the arvo but i'll gauge how the missus is as to whether we do it on a weekend......long weekend coming up so we may be able to do something....if not mid week will be fine.

Had a real purple patch about 3 weeks ago where anything I touched with the putter was draining from anywhere on or off the green....played a couple of 42's and a 43 which included an average of 12-13 putts per 9 holes.....alas I have since returned to my usual average/crap putting which has seen my recent scores head back up into the high 40's ....a recent mid week round at Freo public netted me a score of 100 for 18 with a shocking 37 putts (hence the reason for looking at the Oddy 2 ball the other day)

......so go easy on me big fella

I'll give you 9 shots and I think that is generous (especially with my form lately).

If my swing changes take effect, great, if they don't I will die a terrible, terrible death.

    Yeah, 14, maybe 15 in 2 weeks if I don't start improving.

Midweek should be OK, work pretty quiet atm. I am going away in 4 weeks.

We could hit Glen Iris or Wembley for a neutral venue.

Tuesday afternoons are normally good, but my work changes day to day. Midweek I generally only know the day before if I will be free.

Golfnut, are you any chance for a Monday hit?

I am not definite, and I don't know if we could get on anywhere, but let me know and we can sort out some details if it is an option.

Monday could be a go'er mate......weather says a few showers though.

I would have to make it an early tee off if we did do it.

Nut boy... I posted that last night when I was still excited about this game we call "golf". After another shocking performance today I cannot face playing on Monday.

I will have a week off leading up to the 25th June when I am flying out of this hell hole. That will probably be my best bet, I will be able to play whenever (and hopefully by then I am resembling a golfer)

Nutter, feel bad now, let me regain my mental strength and I'll sms you tomorrow about it. I am over the game of golf today.

Edit: Do you think we would get a game anywhere?

Well couple of options I could try.....either GI or Kwinana for an early tee off.
    I'll do a ring around.
