Go to the range and try and fix your swing. That'll mess you up good.

Matchplay is easy, I play off scratch and you will get a shot on the 9 hardest holes as per the matchplay index. Each hole will be a half, win or loss. Once I have won more holes and you can no longer catch me, for example when I am up by 10 with 8 to play, you lose.

You can concede a putt in matchplay.

I'm a champion at matchplay on TW09 on the PS3 so this should be a peice of cake....NOT!

What does "You can concede a putt in matchplay" mean?

You can give me a putt and vice versa. "Gimmes", basically.

Obviously they still count towards the strokes for that hole don't they?

Give him nothin Golfnut. Make him putt out even the 2" lipouts.

Matchplay is a great format to just basically bag out your opponent at every opportunity.
When Adlo is on the first tee ask him how he has been hitting it lately.

Nah, wasn't in that kind of a mood. Stopped caring after 6 holes. Rebjon just kept marking my card, had a much better back 9. Scary thing, I was only 75% of the way down the leaderboard. Some real shocking scores and a heap of NCR's.

Rebjon, well done mate, finished 2nd. You lost 1.2. Playing off 13 next week, hard luck

I'll have enough demons of my own to fight without having to enrage someone elses simmsy......but who knows, by the 10th if we're both playing well the sledging may commence

Played match against Golfnut this morning at Kwinana GC.

Great day for golf. Was great to be allowed to head off as a 2-ball on a public holiday. Kwinana's definition of "busy" obviously varies greatly from most golf courses.

    Adlo was victorious 2&1.

I turned 2 up only to watch Golfnut par 10 (with a stroke vs. my par) & 11 (to my bogey) to square it up. I took 12 and 13 to get back to 2 up.

I should have closed it out on 16 when I was on the par 3 green with a birdie putt and Golfnut was in the crap. I three jacked to give him a sniff, and he had shots on 17 and 18. He could have halved 17 if not for 2 chucks inside 100m. That's what I like to see!

Was a great match. Some big putts were sunk, some chips went awfully close.

I was happy to play to handicap and feel like some form of a golfer again after a dismal 2 weeks of golf.

    Cheers Golfnut.

I'll update the matchplay spreadsheet. Now to take on Stephen Abootman

great stuff Adz. Sounds like a match very similar to mine and JC's.
Bad luck there Golfnut. Would of been pretty friendly conditions down there as well I think, hey?

Thanks for the morale boost Just!

We actually had a few 3 putts each today. Greens were so glassy, anything slightly downhill was near impossible to stop.

Thanks for the game Adlo.....as usual, very enjoyable out at KGC.

Yeah worked hard to square it up after the 11th only to give it back by the end of the 13th

I had a shot on each of the last holes hoping to square it up as per JC V's simmsy but it wasn't to be with the chunkers coming back to haunt me. The second chunker was just wrong and was my own fault which is what basically cost me any chance of a square up.

Would have been nice to have played the 18th with my own ball too hey Adlo (b!oody midday golfers in jeans )

Positive for me is I hit under the ton which was a good improvement from when I last played.

Go Adlo in the 2nd round!!!

Oh yeah, forgot to mention the bogan locals hitting BOTH our balls on the 18th from the holes than ran parallel. Glad the match was over.

Bloody bogans. I bet they love AC/DC.

Sounds like a good match guys! Did anyone putt into the bunker on the par 5 12th?

Here is a bombshell, neither of us hit a bunker all day.

That hole is crazy by the way, will be much easier next time. That green sucks you in.

Wow well played! There are a couple of real opportunities to find sand on that course.

A bloke in the group in front of us putted into it, chipped out, putted into it again, chipped out, putted into it again, chipped out and finally managed to hole out.

What did you think of 16, the par 3 with the trees?

Weird hole when I walked up to it. Put hybrid onto the back RH part of the green, so I thought it was a great hole after that

I can't decide if its a really well designed hole or just silly. The trees really mess with your perception of the shot needed.

Oh there were a lot of bogans on the course on Sunday as well...
