    Results updated

Only 2 matches that need to be played URGENTLY.

    Amanda V Virge666 & Macjackass V Mathew Gary Webb.

It is getting close to the time that if you cant show that you are going to play these games they will be canned and the person due to play the winner will get a free run into the next round. Consider this the 1st warning!

Lets get this happening guys (& girl)

Anyone going to play this? Seems to be a long time overdue now for the next round matches to be played.

For the two unplayed matches, maybe we go on 2009 post count instead. In that case, Macjackass and Virge go through to the quarters.

If anyone objects, then tell then to organise a tee time and decide their match.

Nice Idea Dotty. I will give those involved a week to inform us of a date for the match to be played or else the above proposed by Dotty will be enforced.

Other ideas could be a repecharge for a 1st round loser in that part of the draw.

I'm not in favour of second chances, as it's knockout matchplay, not round-robin.
If I had to play Zipptop (or MikeZone) again, I may not be so lucky.

No Worries, was just an idea and overall I agree with the fact that it is a knockout matchplay.

The reign is over. There will be a new champion in the NSW Matchplay in 2009.

In an exceptionally low-quality match, Coffs Hacker defeated Jimandr 6&5 today at Cabramatta. Any player who recorded a par was guaranteed to win a hole today. But I recorded a lot more doubles or worse than he did.

'Twas a pity I couldn't make him work a bit harder for it, but I couldn't.

Bah - jim choked on the first hole and I cruised the rest to try and make it interesting LOL.

Definately was a game of who wanted to loose it more than win. Both played a shocker and jono was worse again. Watching jono reload 3 times on the 12th hole brought back memories of the infamous 17 at magenta.

Ok a few executive decisions about the Matchplay have been made overnight.

    1. Matthew_Gary_Webb has been DQ'd. been too long with no posts and no indication of playing.
    2. Macjackass has moved forward to the next round.
    3. Macjackass will play PingJnr in the 1/4 final before the 31st August.
    4. Amanda & Virge666 you have until the 14th of next month to organise a game and have it played before 31st August. If not the 2 of you will be DQ'd
    5. All 1/4 finals to be played by August 31st. Dotty & his opponent will get a little longer (2 weeks possibly)
    6. Semi Finals to be played by 30th September
    7. Final to be played by 31st October.
Next years Matchplay will have more strict dates for completion of games and hopefully this wont happen.

    End of my rant!

Well I am in a position with Nathan and I still in it we need to try and play on the same day. Sundays are my only chance at the moment and with work I can't even be sure of playing each week.

Who are we supposed to play again
