I will give MacJackass V Ping JNR an extra week to organise a game. If that is not organised, one of you will have to forfeit and the other will go on to play the winner of the Virge666 V Dotty match in the semi final. Would prefer someone to fall on their sword for that other wise it will be a toss of the coin.

    Thanks for clarifying that Grunt.

Virge and I should be able sort this out with a mid-week game soon. (I'll fire off a PM tonight, and see when he is back from FNQ.)

Well it looks as if I have to make yet more DQ's in this.

Come on guys it is not that hard to organise a game or at least let everyone know why you have not bothered to play.

Next years draw will not be as big as this year as the people that regularly play will be preferred over those that entered this year and Forfeited.

The toss of the coin was made and Ping Jnr won the match against Macjackass.

Dotty V Virge - game ASAP

Ping Jnr will play the winner of the above match

Ping V Coffs Hacker is the other Semi.

Plan was to get finals played before champs, pull your fingers out guys!!!

All bad from me - my back is ****ed - if I cannot play by 1st week of october I will forfeit.

Finally we get a place organised - and then I end up in hospital.

Mixture of things - needless to say at present I have 2 Mersyndol Forte, 2 x Mg of Valium and 3 Nerofen plus and I am in Agony.

Mainly comes from living in a chair in front of a PC and a dodgy chair at that. The new BamBach chair is a lot better - can recommend. Been in Physio and Oesteo also for a week.

Compressed L3, L4, L5 ans Sacrum, got sciatica down my right leg and yeah - not happy.

Contemplating heading down to Hospital for some of the good stuff. But I will see how I sleep tonight. Golf starts at 2am.

    I am not "Enjoy"ing much.

Virge, sorry to hear about your back and hope the experts can sort it out. (I'm still free for a mid-week match, if things improve in time.)

Grunt, thank you for balancing latitude and discipline in the match schedule. Much appreciated.

Mixed emotions with the above news, but my primary concern is with Virge's health. Get well soon mate.

I'll PM Ping Junior for a semi match availability and options.

The Pings hosted the semi-finals this afternoon and ...

Ping Senior beat CoffsHacker 4 and 3
Ping Junior beat Dotty on the 19th

Both tight matches, with the Pings making the most of holes 10 to 15.

Well done, best wishes for the final and thanks for the day.

    Go Junior!

It is clear that both Pings took unfair home field advantage from their semi-finals. But I'm sure they are deserving finalists. Well done.

I have a highly prestigeous OzGolf Matchplay trophy that I haven't had to remove from under the driver's seat in my car for two years.

If you want an OzGolf witness to your game I'll do my best to be available if you are allowed to invite more guests to Carnarvon (I'm assuming you'll play there).

My final question is this. Will Ping Jnr get any dinner if he is successful?

Coffs handicap worried me too. Re-match.

Jim, I had no problem with any Ping home-field 'advantage'. It was a blessing to not play a neutral course of MacGrange, Shellharbour or Lynwood (sub)standard. (Also means I can organise a home match against either of them, if needed next year.)

    Congrats to Ping Jnr.

Will have to work out when Jim can transfer the trophy to you.

I think we need to get it mounted as a true Trophy now. I will look into it and work out how much it will cost to do.
