How does everyone feel me doing a draw today?
I will do a seeded draw for the top 8 from last years results. The top 8 will be guaranteed 1st round byes and a few luck one in the rest of the draw will be luck also as we dont have a full 32 man field. If we get additional entries before the 1st round is finished they will slot in at a free spot. For example if match 12 is a round and match 13 has a free spot they will slot in there. Does that make sense?

If no one has a drama with that, I will do a draw soon and get it online. I'll give you all a day to put your 2 cents worth in.

Yeah I thought that would be a good idea, maybe we can have an Ozgolf match play day to help people get games out of the way.

So what happened to 31st January? Or even the day for our 2 cents ? (A few of us were at the Oatlands game this arvo.)

I favour ... Wait for closing date, publish a single final draw, with byes favouring those who have have supported Ozgolf games the most.

I like the idea of finish each round by a set date. Any case, I'll happily go with the flow.

ps. Can I use today's result and say I beat Zipptopp 2 and 1 ?

Well how about 1 up then ?

As planned, I did some shopping for a midsize driver on Sat. and now have a 44.5" Cobra 400SZ. Forget the trees, I can now find the next fairway like the rest of you.

I'll PM you later about arranging the matchplay.
