2009 NQ Matchplay

Scoring is 20 points for a win, 10 for a squared match, with a point per margin (eg 2&1 is 3 points, 5&3 8 points).

Semi-final :-

Game 1: Ned Kelly vs. Russell
Game 2: Courty vs. Solarman

Final :-
Ned Kelly vs. Courty (03/01/10 AM - Mossman)

Drove into Cairns GC today for a look and were a few players out. If the fine weather keeps up for Thursday/Friday it may be good for the weekend.

Just looked at the timesheet. The field is filling up very fast. There are only a few vacant groups available from 11:10am on the 10th.

Done. One of the names in my group is a fill-in, so we've got room to spare. We just need to let the pro shop know if we swap the groups around.

Cookie was literally the turd that would not flush. A 5 marker against a 19 marker who plays like a 15 marker is tough!! Great finish, haysey and I were expecting his awesome 7 iron into 18 to finish within a couple of feet, except adrenalin kicked in and bounded over the back. From dormie 2 to square after 18, I'm glad it didn't go down the 10th.

Look forward to the next match against Courty.

Courty, that's much better. Makes it easier to see at a glance where we're up to. Especially later on if things get a bit out of whack. Do we have to play these in order ?

Have to agree with Big Bird. That green is a bit garish. How about a nice pastel blue.
