Very easy, straight up the Kuranda range at Smithfield. Takes about 40min.

I'm out for the 17th, last day of shifts at work.

Sunday the 18th would be easier for me.

Sunday the 18th would be easier for Russell and I as well, but we could make either date.

Either the 17th or 18th "should" work for me

18th is also fine, but will again be working in the morning. After 9am would be good.

Do they cut greens at Mareeba on Sunday's?

I can't think of a good excuse to go golfing on the wife's birthday, so I'll be giving it a swerve if played on Sunday. I am, however, ok for a Saturday hit.

If you can't make it Sunday, should you and I play Saturday at Cairns? Gets me up to date with the Sunday at Mareeba.

Sounds good. I usually play with a mate at around 11:30am on Saturday's. Does that suit?

Well given the forecast next week is for the monsoon to move south and dump on us, perhaps we are best off playing Mareeba on the Saturday as it could be slop and muck at Cairns. I've never recalled Cairns GC draining well during the wet.

But I'm easy. I'm the outsider in this, so am happy to go with the flow. If the consensus is to play at Mareeba Sunday, then I'll be at Cairns at 11.30am on the Saturday.

Mareeba has had more rain then the entire Coast just about, if it keeps going as it has been then expect that Cairns and Co would be dryer.

If the cyclone heads this way as predicted, and drops to a depression on Wednesday/Thursday, then Cairns GC will be seriously wet over the weekend.

Mareeba would be the best bet I'd say. I'm easy either day.

    Nice guitar.

I sloshed around Mareeba today. 5 of the fairways are only a good day of rain away from being unplayable. We'll have to see how the weather goes this week.

I'd say I'll be playing at Mareeba on Saturday regardless of who it's with. Cairns will be compulsory SCUBA gear the way this is going.

Still persisting down here. It's still a week away, but I'm tipping this coming weekends game will be washed out.

OK, I'm only good for one game now over the weekend, Saturday or Sunday.

What's it to be? I'm easy.
