    Cool 2009 NQ Matchplay

    As per this post...

    1. Courty
    2. Haysey
    3. Ned Kelly
    4. Mike
    5. BrettM
    6. Julie
    7. Russell
    8. Cookie
    9. Solarman

Scoring is 20 points for a win, 10 for a squared match, with a point per margin (eg 2&1 is 3 points, 5&3 8 points).

    Semi-final :-

Game 1: Ned Kelly vs. Russell
    Game 2: Courty vs. Solarman

    Final :-
Ned Kelly vs. Courty (03/01/10 AM - Mossman)

Bret, I can really get away anytime you want to, even during the week.
Hey, let's pop some Viagras and issue tickets with raging, mega-huge boners.

After some tense negotiation. The man with the 40 year old golf clubs has agreed to take on the man with the 400 year old back in Mareeba on Saturday...

Tomson and I will be going along to shitstir sledge take the piss out of Solarman and support BrettM.

I'm not sure how Solarman can live with himself receiving a shot a hole. Just doesn't seem fair really

It may pay to check but I think Saturday at Mareeba the comp is a shotgun start at 12.30 pm.

This means that if you want to play comp you can only do it as part of the shotgun start.

Maybe give the Club a call on 40921528 to check...............if its comp you want to play as well as the Match Play.

    Thanks Tim.

Don't do anything strenuous tonight which might affect your back solarman

Well, solarman beat Brett 4 & 3. Very enjoyable day again thanks to Bob, Tim and Tomson.

BUT, apart from Brett picking the Cox Plate winner on the way home, I was recounting the day with my wife on the verandah this afternoon in Port Douglas. Basically I told her it has been 18 years since my last set of golf clubs, and the US $$ is good.......she said "just do it"

So, I'm going to buy a new set of clubs, driver, irons, wedges.

Tomson - we need to talk. I'm not selling my irons, or putter (but I will get you to reshaft)

Need some help gents. I have a week off in the first week of November, maybe some analysis and selection??

    Cheers.

    1st post updated.

If Solarman beats Ned, he will leapfrog Cookie to finish in 4th spot.

    Go Ned!!!

I'm seriously thinking about capping the handicap for the matchplay next year... specifically Solarman's. I'm thinking 16 sounds about right.

Julie, are we still right for this Sunday and are we playing morning or afternoon? Either doesn't concern me.

Could we also book a buggy too please for the girls to ride around in.

Brett, if you don't mind could we make Sunday about 12.30pm.
There will be plenty of buggies on a Sunday as it is fairly quiet.

12.30pm it is Julie, look forward to it. Is Russell playing?

OK NQ Ozgolfers, as you know I've been playing with an 18 year old set of clubs. I am buying a new set. So far I have liked:

Titliest ZB's like Courty's (hope to see these next week)
    Mizuno MP68
    Miura blade
TM: is there something forged? The R9 TP irons look OK, but.....

    Need some suggestions,

    Driver will be next.

Have a week off next week and will get to Cairns to check out a couple of stores to get some ideas. Maybe a visit to the Bermuda Triangle of haysey, solarman and tomson?

Once you enter the triangle you'll never leave. I'm available monday or friday next week. I'm away the other 3 days.
