FFS. When was that clown last sighted on the course, anyway. And exactly what does he carry around in his manbag?

I have to be in Townsville this weekend, but I will be back, and the people who have mocked me will be met with the full vengenace of the masked one. The person who wears his jocks on the outside, and wears lycra with pride, will use his driver as zorro once used his sword to fight off all oppressors.

There's been some champagne sledging leading up to this match, but it's all bluff on my part. I'm actually expecting to lose this match against Cookie (I just hope he doesn't read this before we play). I've seen his game firsthand, and he definitely hits the ball far better than his handicap might suggest (although his short game can be suspect). Unfortunately though, his handicap is still high, and thanks to some decent rounds from me recently, I'm on the lowest I've been in a number of years (6.7). What that means is that I'll be giving him a bucketload of shots, nullifying any length & homecourse advantage I may have. My only chance is his mental fragility (which I've pointed out earlier). I don't think straight-out sledging will be very effective in this match, so I may have to employ some more subtle tactics. Hmmmm.... maybe I can distract him by leaving a bunch of coloured tees visible in no obvious order or pattern.

Make it coathangers and you'll get OCD boy off to a good start

If he gets up early he'll be hard to stop. Sucks to be giving him a shot on the last hole too.

Strangely. Yes. It was a practice match and on my home course so it counts for nothing

I either get smashed early or hang on until the 17th at best.

Sorry, correction, I usually get smashed early or make it to the 17th for a win.

Anyway, Manbag is going to fire out of the shyte house to the Penthouse like haysey to a drummond store and get some serious points.

OK, hopefully I should be right for a round on the 14th or 15th (providing the bub doesn't come early).

I notice everyone is a little quiet after Cookie beat Courty, however Cookie is beatable. I'd say if someone took him around Paradise Palms he'd be smashed.

Anything happening around that weekend at any course?

Quick edit: I may be in Atherton that weekend, so Mareeba on the late morning perhaps?

Good track for matchplay. The 2nd hole is one of the best in FNQ for mine.
