    4. Mike
    5. BrettM
    6. Julie
    7. Russell
    8. Cookie
    9. Solarman

Scoring is 20 points for a win, 10 for a squared match, with a point per margin (eg 2&1 is 3 points, 5&3 8 points).

    Semi-final :-

Game 1: Ned Kelly vs. Russell
    Game 2: Courty vs. Solarman

No, I will be riding in the Orange Bomb.

You will be walking with Mike.
Nah, I booked you a buggy for you, because I know you like to walk as much as I do.

What time are you guys leaving from Cairns on Sunday, and would there be a chance of a ride up? I am at the wife's Xmas party at the Bluesky Brewery Saturday night and we are staying at Mantra Trilogy on the esplanade. I won't have any clubs with me in Cairns but would need to swing by my place in Port Douglas to pick up on the way through (carry bag only).

Only seven sleeps to go ! - looking forward to getting up there - what is the current list of players ? - am having trouble keeping track !................and a side question for Julie and Brett [ and any other Port locals] , the wife has asked me to find out if Port has any largish supermarkets to get supplies for the week or are we better off getting the non cold stuff in Cairns after we arrive ? - I think it would make more sense to ask if beer and wine are cheaper in Cairns than Port Douglas...

Buy your beer and wine in Cairns at either 1st Choice in Sheridan Street or Dan Murphys on Mulgrave Road. We have a good IGA in Port where you can do your shopping and there's also a Woolies in Mossman. Avoid the Coles in the main street of Port.

Haysey & I are working on it. We may have to take 2 cars as that would make 5 people & 4 sets of clubs.

Damoocow, don't stress too much, there are plenty of bottleshops in Port Douglas, although Cairns will be cheaper.

OK, as BrettM can't make it, Cookie gets a free round this weekend. He'll have to play BrettM at another NQ OZgolf event soon. Is everyone else ok to play their first match this weekend?

I was thinking about grouping them together, but I'll leave it to them to decide whether they have a pretend match. Cookie is a softc0ck, so I doubt he will.

Just want to say Russell and I had a great day, and we are really looking forward to the next match.

Mike was great fun, he gave poor old Ned a good sledging all day.
Fancy Ned changing his golflink number, poor Mike will have nothing to read anymore.

    Hehehehehehehe

Well like Russell, I only lost 1 shot, as for Mike and his sledging, he has a hell of a lot work for his sledging to be effective. (And that wont happen in my life time)

In regards to the Golflink, he actually thought I was serious!!!!!

    (As did Julie)

And going by the number of posts from the Julie, her computer must be fixed!!!

Julie and I are required to play matchplay against each other in the second round.
Can we play today or do we wait till we all play together.

It's just, Julie is trying another swing change and what better time for me to play her, than when her mind is clouded with swing thoughts.
