Default Don’t ever use Sendle couriers

If u do, it will take ages, you don’t know where the item is in tracking, you can’t speak to anyone and it will probably turn up broken!

    just letting you know!

It was from a supplier to me. I never got it. They r not happy but r replacing it.
It had been listed as local depot (somewhere) for 12 days and I finally spent 2 hours trying to find out where it was!
The photo was sent to me by the one human that works at Sendle.

I bought some gloves from Ace a year or so ago.

Nice gloves, but shipped with Sendle and took over a month.

    Never again.

Sendle isnt a courier, they are a digital broker, they find the cheapest deal with real couriers. It likely would have been Couriers Please, or Aramax(fastway), Action Express (?) less likely Fedex/DHL. However if neither has a depot in your town would have been probably subcontracted. What was the name of the depot you went too?

Deliveries can certainly be very random.

I ordered some soccer gear for one of my boys from a company based in Victoria and had no issues with the delivery. My wife ordered dance shoes for my daughter from a Gold Coast business, also sent through Sendle. It took 8 weeks and the supplier to chase up Sendle multiple times before they arrived.

Golf is, in part, a game; but only in part. It is also in part a religion, a fever, a vice, a mirage, a frenzy, a fear, an abscess, a joy, a thrill, a pest, a disease, an uplift, a brooding, a melancholy, a dream of yesterday and a hope for tomorrow. - New York Tribune, 1916.

I've used Sendle a few times with no issues, although I mostly use e-go.

What Blakey said is correct. I've had stuff lost & damaged with the more reputable carriers as well, so it's all completely luck of the draw.

They might find many things, the cheapest deal is unlikely to be one of them.

I agree - I will not buy stuff from Ebay sellers who (stupidly) admit they use Sendle. I have had nothing but bad experiences with them - I understand MTB's point about them contracting out, but I have had consistently bad experiences with Sendle losing stuff or taking months to arrive when compared to others.

The think that shitts me about this issue was someone obviously knew the package was damaged and the contents broken. Nothing was done until I chased it up! That is poor all the way down the management chain. Someone made a decision to ignore the problem-blame. Either there is a blame culture present or workers are too disengaged to report it. Either way, it is a toxic attitude in a service industry!

As someone who has spent a while in the transport industry, I would not have delivered it in that state without the sender & receiver knowing.

I would highly NOT recommend Couriers Please. ****ing useless. 10 days ago something was booked from NSW to QLD. Still no end in sight after another phone call to them today. Seller from here has done everything right so no complaints there but **** me the couriers are bad. Freight in Australia is an embarrassment.

Just had a box take from Sydney to the Gold Coast take 3 days. Very cheap, too. The two times I have used sendle have been good but it's definitely a crap shoot with couriers and the post.

Who do Golfbox use? I know they are based in WA, but everyone I have heard who's used them raves about them.

From my experience a mix of Auspost and StarTrack depending on the size of what you've ordered.

All couriers are good when they are good. But when something goes bad, they are all a nightmare

The mass scale of their business, makes it incredibly hard to track down just one parcel.

Couriers please are incredibly slow at responding to any issues.

Fedex is so frustrating when their customs clearance staff make mistakes (often) and there is no way to get past their first level of support to get to a manager.

DHL is pretty good. No call queues, all no BS aussie staff, and all very experienced.

MNX global is awesome, but unless you are transporting hazourdous, biologicals or body parts, you probably cant afford them

The lady that manages the "dead letter" at my local Toll depot tells me most problems caused by dumb packing, and poor labelling.

Most drivers are exceptional, despite the high volumes that pass through their hands, they have very good memories.

My advice for less courier pain.
    1. Ship from/to business addresses.
    2. Dont reuse boxes. once the structure is lost they are more easily damaged and broken
    3. Put address information inside the box securely attached to contents
    4. Strike up a relationship with your local driver.
