i bought some Karakal grips for Blakey, Baz and myself, from www.bestbuygolfsupply.com and it all went smoothly. great price too. good range in a lot of products add them as well pls.
Rockbottomgolf is having a 15% off sale at the moment, but be warned. Many of their prices have been jacked up 15% to offset the deal. I don't know if that's even legal in the US, because it sure isn't in Australia.
The main reason I noticed is that the R7 Limiteds, which I was eyeing at $169 are now $199, but with the 15% off just so happen to work out to be - you guessed it - $169!
They do it all the time. Some products are good for a genuine discount, but not many.

I bought a driver and a 3 wood from Alternative Golf a few years ago, very good quality and performed nicely as well, somehow i have been sucked into the commercial names now so i can get value on trades.
Speaking of Rockbottom Golf, I just recieved a Hybrid I got from US Ebay (a buyer called findthegolf, very good price too I must say) and it came packaged from rBG withan invoice from them as well. Why would they have another Ebay username? Anyway it was a cheap buy, and bloody quick shipping, will look at them again

anyone bought clubs off http://www.globalgolf.com/ lately
i put a order in and got a email
asking for a photocopy of my
credit card , lastest credit card statement and licence
and faxed to them
is this normal as im abit worried about giving all my details like that
thanks
I only buy from globalgolf off ebay. Their shipping is just stupid otherwise.
FWIW, there are a few online retailers that ask for such personal details... and I will not deal with any of them.
in the USA, when they get an credit card authorisation , they can check the address of the cardholder - this is a great fraud prevention measure.
However the cant do that for australian credit cards, so this is the level of checking he is doing to prevent losses due to stolen credit cards.
Not everyone does it, but my guess is that he has been stung before.
so after sorting out the card authorisation on the 12th nov
my clubs have not arrived
nothing on credit card
email globel golf and all they say is they will arrive soon but wont supply tracking number
maybe santa is bringing them
so santa came early today and left his r9 tp clubs behind just what i ordered
A thumbs up to Rock Bottom Golf, I ordered some shoes Monday, delivered to Brisbane Thursday morning.
Much better than the grief I'm copping from Golfsmith at the moment.
Check this dodgy buggers out!

Steer clear!
Ordered a heap of personalised golf balls for Christmas from them, ship date was meant to be 14th December and they shipped them 24th December !
Cost me $20 in the exchange rate drop, but like most American companies they don't respond to any complaints at all ! Maybe I should dispute the txn with my credit card company

I had a good experience with Golfsmith with my complaint. I got shafts and heads shipped to a traveller in USA who bought them back for me. The 3 TX90 shafts were the wrong tip size, so I email them, and straight up they resent the correct shafts to AU at no cost to me and told me to keep the other shafts as well.
