    Yes i know - lots of pro shops have a sign up that they will match any onlinepricing. This is the first time i have seen a proshop have a cheaper sticker price than the best online.
    Imagine asking golf box to match a pro-shop! ha.

    anyone dealt with Powergolf (sydney) before? as an online retailer their prices are very low. Spot checking some golf bags and they are $20 less than golfbox.

    Their inventory just seems too way too large to me, like every colour version of every golf bag model, and there is this snippet in the fine print.
    Online orders will be dispatched within 2 business days of being received (stock dependent)*

    I can see they are 2 or 3 local golf stores, but I suspect they are just listing entire supplier catalogues and then backordering - not that there is anything wrong with that but who wants to pull the trigger and then find out a week later the distributor has no stock

    Bought a bag through them some time ago. The one I wanted wasn't in stock so ended up changing to another I decided I wanted. Easy to deal with.

    I bought an umbrella holder for my push buggy and it was dispatched quickly.

    Their Alexandria store is massive with lots of stock but never been to the one in Castle Hill, maybe they check stock at both then order from supplier if neither have it.

    Avoid ksouth9 on Ebay.

    https://www.ebay.com.au/str/ksouth9

    If you don't pay enough at auction, he changes his shipping settings and says he won't ship to Australia.
    2 days later, all of his listing's magically ship to Australia again.

    I must not have paid enough at Auction.

    Has anyone bought from George Abdroudolopolpopolis on Facebook marketplace? He floods the Golf Gear SEQ group with a lot of stuff mostly new or barely used. Too much to be true i feel. Where would someone get so much mint used gesr from.

    Last week i said i will take the Cobra 3W he is selling and replies at 1am saying not available. So i wait 2 days and still listed so i follow up, he says its sold pending payment. 6 days later its still for sale.

    I stay right away from FB Marketplace. I have no interest in dealing with wankers, scammers etc. I just had a look out of interest and first thing I see is a sponsored link to what is an obvious fake equipment site!;

    I tried to buy a driver & shaft from a guy last week.

    Agreed on price and freight. No haggling from me. Happy to pay.

    3 days after asking for his PayPal details, still no response.

    i have bought quite a few things from there - all but one is a local or 3rd party pickup. One i did buy from sydney, his profile indicated he worked at ( i forget, similar to cool clubs, very well known) so i rang them on their listed phone number and he answered the phone. Plus I personally knew someone else who works there. You are right about being ware though, there is no chance i would buy from an unknown on FB/Gumtree etc without some sort of independent verifications. Even then i would still make sure i have something on them to be able to track them down later. Having Captain Toecutter Nemo in Sydney adds some comfort if some goes amiss down that way.

    What’s the best/cheapest options for US drop shipping these days? For places they won’t ship to Aus or are absurdly expensive.

    Seems comgateway is cheaper/best, but i cant remember why.

    Regardless all of them hit you with GST, so after paying that plus US local sales tax, they were not much cheaper for what i was looking at.

    I use MyUS or HopShopGo. MyUS doesn't cube weight, so larger boxes like shaft boxes dont get hammered as much.

    Nice one!

    Myus seems to be exactly same rates as others, but yeah, no cubing will likely be a huge savings. a typical golf club weighs up to half a Kg, but a golf shipping box cubed is around 7kg.

    kg's cubed = LxBxH(cm)/4000

    myus do charge cubed for larger boxes. most golf club boxes would fall under that
    note: *While 99% of shipments are calculated by weight only, TruePrice excludes packages with linear dimensions (length + width + height) greater than 72 inches (183 cm)

    Bumping this for Sheezeymaneezy,

    Sounds like Gammon Golf is an online retailer to avoid.

    Probably not.

    1. Website is less than a month old

    2. Report of customer being scammed; https://www.scampulse.com/buttolerfoodfiercom-reviews

    3. I am always suss of email addresses that are not linked to the website domain

    4. Hard to verify the listed address, which is supposedly in Paris;

    This seems to confirm;

    https://www.scamwatcher.com/scam/view/632380

    Search the Foodfier.com domain and there seems to be lots of similar scam sites linked to it.

    Ditto for the supposed parent company, Umall Technology S.A.R L.

    Go easy on me, I'm new here... I just worked out that 3balls is now owned by globalgolf. Now to obsessively watch their site to replace my entire bag setup.

    $66 postage for one club is a bit offputting.
