Default Week beginning Mon 15th November

Another very long weekend holiday for me...
    It's still a holiday today!!!

After I flew back in from KK yesterday morning, we went out for another hit...
shot 76, with some okay driving and okay hitting...
2 doubles in there, another lost ball into the drink, couple of shots really got away from me...and some putts drop when they shouldn't have...

Congrats on joining Coffs, Coffs! 85 is good going after 13 years away from the game. Crikey, I play almost every week and thats what I shoot these days.

25 putts is awesome!! What are the greens like? In fact, what's the course like?

funnily enuff, I just entered my stats into GameTrack, and I had 28 putts...
so I guess I can't really !@#$% too much abt it...
should hit more than just 7 GIRS instead...

    Yep, he's been lurking.
    Welcome, Coffs_Hacker.

The secret to 25 putts is only hitting 3 greens. Am I right?

I have the low putt count to an art form, I have never been able to hit greens in reg. Go the chip, 1 putt - par :P

Since I have come back from a break, these are my scores last 3 weeks: 86,87,81,95,82,84,87,81
Overall i have gone out .9 in my last 10 rounds, add to that 5 Ozgolf games and that makes me an even worse performer than you-know-who.

    Today : 71 I'M BACK!

Thats 14 below my recent average, Tried to do a cartwheel like Mandy, but didnt work and landed on the ballwasher. I'm already a father so it doesnt matter.

Also got a PB today. 1st time for 9 holes without a 5 (or more) on the card. Unfortunately that cinderella story ended on the 10th, and the 12th, and the 14th....

Nearly got a PB in GIRS also, but on the penultimate hole "I missed it by that much". Very happy to hit 16, a few rounds ago, i only hit 2.

    The reason for the turnabout.
    1. Had a golf lesson with Doug Kercher yesterday. Not hitting balls though, just some drills to work on.
    2. Caddying for some decent golfers on the weekend, helps getting the mindset right - definitely.

Played yesterday in the first round of our Club Foursomes.........it was not a pretty sight. My partner put me in the trees off the first tee and well it didn't get much better from then on. Had a lousy front nine and a shocker on the back. Second round next week - we won't be holding our breath!
At least we both played bad - I would hate it if I let my partner down.

Isn't foursomes just the most cruel game ever played! I know exactly how you feel - I'm sure things will look up next week

Don't need to, Trung, it's too hard to win gross comps having single figures.
