    pretty chuffed. 113 yesterday and handed in my third card. had a lesson last friday and i seem to have picked something up.

    Andy, i know you've been at it a while, but in the context of things you are still at "the beginning"

    Just stop thinking too hard about it, and concentrate on making steady, rhythmic contact with the ball. At your (our) level of the game, get it greenside, and get it in from there. Frankly terms like "GIR" shouldn't exist yet, concetrate on keeping the ball in play.
