On reflection, I didn't get to single figures in 2011 because I simply didn't play enough comp golf, and when I did, I couldn't put the various bits and pieces together. Thought I'd make a bit of use of my blog thing and try to chronicle my golfing journey for 2011.
As most of you know, 2010 saw me finally join a club, and my bag contents change almost week by week. I ended the year with my handicap at 16.9, and the WITB reasonably steady.
I haven't made any concrete goals for 2011 in terms of where I want my handicap to be, but after my round at Windsor yesterday, I really do think I can push it down to single figures come 12 months
After several instances of seeing Sydney Ozgolf meetups where my lack of handicapping worked against me, I have finally got my butt into gear and signed up somewhere. Filled out the forms today (well, one I have to fill out tomorrow) to join up at Glenmore Heritage Valley.
Time will tell if I'll regret signing up at Lynwood, but I do like Glenmore a lot. The 2 long par 5s on the front 9, the nice little par 3 to close off the front 9 with a near full water carry, the undulating fairways...I

The Marsden Park Golf Academy 9 hole course is on a somewhat tight parcel of land, bounding 3 sides of a driving range. It consists of 6 par 3s of lengths between 105
