link to old pre-change swing. taken up at Pacific Harbour after it opened.

i used to dip, was WAY too quick in tempo and a myriad of other things.

no need to point anything out in this swing as it looks nothing (i hope) like this anymore.

posting for posterity only.

Doesn't look too bad at all really ... tempo is pretty good.

Then again, i'm used to looking at some pretty ugly swings ;)

no matter how much one thinks their swing has changed, to everyone else, still looks like the same old swing - usually :D

yeah, i hear you. after the first lesson where i was more bent knees and upright shoulders, it felt more like going for a crap than swinging a golf club.

that said, i no longer have a sore back and am striking the odd ball like never before so it may not look diiferent, but sure as hell feels different.

I like it - you look a little aimed to the right, but that will change by itself as your posture and turn gets better.

love the hand action.

some ones from tonight at the range a little dark. like MtB said, it looks pretty similar but my ball flight is radically different. i know i need to get more turn on the back swing. its a little short due to me being a little tired.

yeah, lessons have buggered my aiming. went from fades and cuts to pull hooks by not clearing my hips.

starting to get a bit of feel back

Bollocks . . . the swings look good. All I see if the upper body is going left as opposed to down the target line. This is called "coming out of it", and it is a good players mistake.

If you freeze at impact you will see your shoulders way left - but your hands are on the money.

i don't want to replace your instructor in any way - but if you are bored and want to try something - try getting your left shoulder up higher through impact. Nick Faldo and Leadbetter would say try pulling your left shoulder away from your right knee. It may straighten that pull shot out a bit.

Love the speed and the balance

Will he be killer on the course or bumble his way around?

There is a fair bit of buzz about him, hopefully the sting won't go out of his tail

So, after a couple of lessons. Main points trying to keep my weight on the left side. Really tightened my dispersion....

Looks like you are a bit close to the ball, or something, you like uncomfortable.

leighthebee
20th July 2014, 10:10 PM
My other main thing is to keep my arms quiet. Really focusing on jamming them to the body. It is uncomfortable at the moment, but my results make the uncomfortable worth it....
