Guys,

My membership at Penrith expires at the end of May and I am looking for somewhere to join for the six months until I move to London in November.

Ideally it will be:

Less than $400 for six months.
Within 20mins of Sydney CBD (I live at Newtown).
On Golflink.

Any ideas?

Marrickville is nearby, but it's utter shit. Bardwell Valley seems like a decent option at $300. It was a nice enough track without being what you'd class as good, but in the area I'm casting my net, anything under $400 for six months isn't going to be electric!

Beverly Park is not a bad little track - should be in your price range too.

Mate just joined Ashlar for $1100 for 16 months with no joining fee and they told him all about the proposed course swap/housing development.

You could see if they'll do a 4 month deal for you.

Massey Park or Gordon (stretch for close to the city, but closer than Penrith) are the only 2 I can think of. Fox Hills perhaps? But you would need to spend extra on protective headwear.
