Recently got a nike sq2 3 wood (the square one). Only had a chance to hit the thing indoors and thought the stock shaft was ok so went ahead and ordered a DVS 80 s to put in it. Anyway, hit it on course yesterday and this thing is a cannon!! Shaft arrived today and not sure whether or not to mess up something that works great. Anyone looking for a forgiving 3 wood that is super-easy to elevate off the deck need look no further. I'm ditching the g10 5 wood as it is no longer required.

My advice, don't change what is working but keep the extra shaft in case things change. I tried changing my driver about 2 months ago and it did not work for me. Went back to the old faithful and everything is working well.

Have you hit the DVS in a fairway wood before? If not I wouldn't bother with the reshaft. I have ruined many a good fairway wood by thinking would be better off with a permium shaft.
If it works I wouldnt mess with it.

Should I tinker with my swing?
Should I change the shaft?
Should I buy a new club?
Should I buy a new set of clubs?
Is what you are doing working?

What rick and bluescooter said!

Haven't hit this shaft, no. Have heard it's similar to a vs proto (which I really liked) but with more launch and spin. Should be perfect, well sounds good in theory. :-)

I too like the VS Proto but don't like it as a fairway shaft. Tried it in a few heads and just feels wrong - great driver shaft though.
