Went to the doc this morning to get a persistant cough checked out (Rob was gonna shoot me if I didn't) and while she said it's not pneumonia yet I do have the worst case of chicken pox she's seen in years! Cool, I guess ;)

I remember having these whenI was 17. Worst location was on the genitalia, closely followed by in the mouth. Terrible bloody thing to have.

No, armpits are the worst. Skins all worn bare from the friction and the blisters are all scratched etc. Doesn't matter how I move my arms or what position they're in, it just stings. I'm not even going near deodorant!

Goughy, adult chicken pox is nothing to laugh at. Less than 5% of total cases are adult related, but more than 50% of chicken pox related deaths are adults. You do the maths and you can see that you have greater than 20 times chance of dying from this than a child. :smt087

Don't worry Jono, keeping a lid on things. Tons of rest, only going out to go to the docs. She had a good laugh at me today telling me it was the worst she's seen. She's keeping an eye on me getting pneumonia since I had it a couple of years ago and am even more susceptible now with this! Got a nasty cough too.

What's pissing me off is I have some suppliers screaming at me and there's nothing I can do about it. Falling seriously behind and all I can do is sit on my butt. Then when I get back to work (maybe late this week, contagious period should be up in a day or 2) I won't be able to get my supplies. I spent 2 weeks with a nasty bronchitis before this hit me and have missed plenty of work with that.

The only thing scaring me is how I'm going to recover at work and how bad the scaring will be. Rob's about to post another pic - don't look at it during dinner folks!

Poor bugger i watched both my kids go through it a couple of years ago. Luckily it didnt scar to bad except in the hair line. There is parts of their scalps where hair no longer grows because of the scar tissue.
