Bought myself a Bridgey Staff bag for $250 delivered.

I thought that was a good price 8) until my mate Jarro bought the same bag for $80 less... anyway, I digress .

Bag arrives and it's not a staff bag at all, it's a MINI staff bag !!! What does that mean, well it's a 9 incher instead of anything larger.

Here is the link to a current auction http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Bridgestone-Staff-Bag_W0QQitemZ360019092992QQihZ023QQcategoryZ14105Q QrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQ_trksidZp1638.m118.l1247QQ cmdZViewItem

I never asked the size in inches as I didn't think it necessary, staff bags simply aren't 9 inches.

I feel ripped off, have I been ?

Had you known the actual size would you still have bought it?

no, I was after something larger.

I was looking at 10.5" bags but someone said they were too big... this isn't probably much bigger than a carry bag I guess at 9" ?

as far as i was aware staff bags are 10 inch or bigger. The bag i have is 10 inch and is heaps big enough.

Most high end companies do staff bags in around 9 and 10 inches. You haven't been ripped off.

Personally I prefer the 9 inch versions. They are plenty big enough (insert penis length joke here).

Does it have a serial number or is it a dodgy one?

Bridgestone do more than one size staff bag.

The box actually has a sticker where they have received it from Bridgestone golf in South Aussie somewhere. Haven't looked for the serial number yet

Bridgestone do more than one size staff bag.yep, seems they have a Tour and a Mini, maybe it's pot luck which one you get then ?

Doubtful.

I think it's more a Buyer Beware type situation, I expected one thing and got something smaller. If I had looked at the Bridgey web before I bought I may have asked what Staff bag they were selling.

Did Jarro receive 9" as well or did he get something larger?

He hasn't got his yet. The seller isn't huge on comms.

If there is no standard for iron lofts or what "Stiff" is then there is probably no standard fr Staff bags.

and what does "staff" mean? the bag in those links just look like a normal golf bag to me.

Pretty sure Taylor made offers (or at least did) 2 different sizes for the staff bag's, a 9.5" and 10.5".

I'm not sure I'd call 9" mini, it'll still have plenty of room for all your clubs, assuming you're only carrying 14.

I thought the bag would've been bigger too :(

Still, nice bag all the same :)

Crap looking bag regardless of its size. How many cans can you fit in there?

More than I could in my last bag... ping bag was 4 can max, this is easy 8 !

I used the bag today, I like it. Now, I have suggested to them nicely that they should include the word mini in their listing to be truthful. Otherwise I guess it will have to feature on my feedback ;)

Bridgestone has 2 staff bags
I have the tour staff bag which is the one you were after

the one you got however was the mini staff bag
it probably should have been listed as a mini staff bag though...
from the photo though you can tell its the mini by the zip pocket that is on the side of the bag above the logo...tour doesnt have this
doesnt seem to be in that sellers nature to do that either
the guy is pretty honest and i have never seen anything dodgy from him

I'm sure he'll word his listings a little more carefully in the future ;)
