The search has begun. We are now accepting nominations for your choice of Miss OzGolf. The theme for this year: Common Course Ettiquette

What's required? Nothing, or very little in the way of clothing anyway. Please post your nominations of your Miss OzGolf, who should be captured on a golf course displaying a) fine fashion (or varying degrees of), and b) course ettiquette.

Perhaps your Miss OzGolf will be sporting the latest designer stitches while raking a bunker, repairing her divot (and one other) on the fairway or correctly ironing out a pitch-mark. Being called up on a Par 3 is always a treat, especially when it's Miss OzGolf '04 waving the putter high above her head from 160 metres away.

Terms and Conditions: This competition isn't really a competition, moreso just a chance to see if people are silly enough to take a candid picture or two on a golf course. There are no prizes, for there to be prizes you would need sponsors, and no one is silly enough to sponsor anything like this. The owners and operators of www.ozgolf.net are in no way linked to the shameless concept behind this competition, please don't hassle them. Finally, this is basically the brainchild of Golfer69 and Fishman Dan, neither of whom are overly trustworthy or very good golfers.

Please, no nominations for 'Miss OzGolf (Equipment) HO'

Gosh thats not saying much about yourself Fishman :-)

I like the concept, hope the girls embrace it. Now we probably already heard about the Firemans calender- are the Ozgolf boys going to do a Ozgolf calender.

My only beef is that the fine print doesn't go even finer.

Speaking of beef (which we weren't), I'm just glad that during Beef Week in Casino (2 weeks away!) there's no Beef King to complement the Beef Queen. Imagine being hailed as the Beef King of Casino.

PS - I bags January.

I don't think I'm "Miss" material.... three years of marriage and one 2 year old later, I'm decidedly looking worse for the wear...

If someone can find a 6'2" paper bag, I'll be in it. 8-[

Funnily enough I have been turning up a lot of your posts lately, Fishy. Unintentionally, mind you.

I also found your letter to Golf Digest complaining about the young whipper snappers rather entertaining.

Some things never change too. He still marches off on the front 9 if he's not going to win.
