Russell and I will be in Brisbane on the 29th & 30th of March. We will be staying in the city, so I was wondering if you could tell us what would be the best places to play golf (re taxi rides) in Brisbane.
We are not interested in any gc's that want a letter of introduction from the president etc etc (they wouldn't accept us.;)).
Cheers Julie.

Victory Park would be the closest.
St Lucia woud not be bad too, but a bit far.
Both are city council course.
But if you go all the way the St Lucia, might as well go to Indoorpilly GC.
I want to suggest Pacific too, but its probably too busy and too snooby ;)

Actually if 30th, both time and cost is not a problem, how about I pick you guys up from the CBD and go to play Brookwater?

It looks like A-Lo has this one under control. Nothing to see here. Move along.

If time is an issue, we just set it to Vic Park, an early game in Vic park will attract some OZGer and I suppose it will help to let you meet a few wankers here

is there still a golf course at Vic Park ? It's a nice play to try out new clubs and have a latte' but i didn't think anyone played golf there any more.
If you decide to go to Brookwater, keep me in mind as a 4th.

DC, to be fair, would it be busy on Sat and Sun? Especially consider they probably need to rush back in a hurry in the arvo?

Andylo and BrisVegas, Thank you so much for your fantastic offers.
Time is an issue on Sunday afternoon (have to catch a plane).
I will discuss everything with Russell tonight.

Nudgee would have to be the option then.
