gap between driver and 7 wood is way too big - cannot hit a hybrid to save myself so need a 3 or 4 wood - doesn't need to be current or even flash - will absolutely consider anything of any vintage or shaft type- check your cupboards / old stock etc - would prefer a price rather than, 'what do you think it's worth?'

Too much information / peer pressure giving me a headache..........

VSteel shaft is way too long - longer than my driver................
Mactec's have very good rep but not really after a stock shaft.....
Acer sounded promising [cheap]with a decent shaft but condition is likely to be poor if blakey uses it as a toad killer........

acer is gone - what a hook machine !! - sold it to a guy on Sunday - I think he took pity on the club [was heading for the bin] - he seemed happy with it though - he hit it better than me anyway - total loss $15 = about $1.88 per hit................hmmmmm maybe I should relook at hybrids ?
