Hooking up router with voip and bb?

Rob wants me to hook up our wireless router at her parents so she can use the net on her laptop. I did it last time no issues.

But now he's got VOIP. The line goes into his bb modem, then into his VOIP bos, and from that into his computer. I'm assuming I can just hook the router in between the VOIP box and his computer without screwing up his phone. But I don't know.

Anybody got any experience?

The bb modem (router) should have 4 or so ethernet ports. Just run a cable from the bb modem to your wireless router (which should also have ethernet ports).

Generally the VOIP box is just for VOIP, but could have ethernet ports too based on the fact you said it runs to his computer.

If you can give us make and model numbers of all equipment it would make it easier to give you the correct info.
