Nah.. same as always...

-1 = birdie
E = Par
+1 = bogey

;)

Seriously though the Australian Open website is now down.. down... down...

Lonards been a little scrappy today, finding water twice in the first three holes

Appleby has struggled also.. as has Badds.com.

The 11th hole looks fantastic, i'm surprised the marshalls can get the pissheads to be quite at all while the golfers are putting

I wonder how much Allenby copped on the 11th?

Heaps i hope.

He deserves it after his comments during the week.

He played the 11th as his second hole at around 7-8am, would have been too early for the people to get there. He will cop it tomorrow though. Will be through there just after lunch.

Interesting to see on yesterdays coverage of the Senden/Baddeley 3 ball, Ch7 made it look like a 2 ball, completely ignoring player #3. I had to freeze frame the video to see who it was.

Surprised to see it was Michael Campbell.

They ignored a multiple Australian tour winner and US Open winner but gave ample air time to a grumpy , skinny Japanese hacker.

But Campbell has a +10 or something like that isn't it?

Talk about a start by O'hern. Litterally 5 perfect shots to start his round and go from equal leader to lead by 3, and by 4 over his patner, after 2 holes. Mr Solid!

Allenby's looking the goods ... leading the field at the end of the 3rd round.

Just when I was going to get on the bandwagon and start talking about my pro-am partner from a few weeks ago Kim Felton, the poor guy has a day he would rather forget.. Thankfully two chip-ins restored some respect but that last hole was a car crash... shanks, dropped shots and then a miracle chip-in... ugly but somewhat entertaining...

Felton has had the shanks before too....poor guy

Doesn't look like there'll be a playoff now after Parry's great up&down on 17 8)

Nice to see him win it too. Parry & Lonard are the guys the club golfer like to see win.

Yep could not ask for a better bloke to win the Aus Open :smt023 :smt038
I had a side bet on Snedeker, that penalty on the 14th was costly to him and me  ;)
How about the storm that just hit them as well

Congrats to Parry ... he's a role model to us short, fat blokes.

Isn't he Dick.

Jarro. I meet Craig before. He is at least twice as fat as you, and two foot taller.

I went out there today. Pretty disappointed that Allenby and Nitties raced each other to the bottom, but it was a super par save on 17 that won it for Parry. The Popeye fist-pump was great - he knew it was the winning putt.

The others had no idea how to win a golf tournament. Stand up Craig Parry - the SW layup for a second shot that took the water right out of play for his approach to 18 was clever.

All day I watched Nitties and Allenby fire at pins from poor lies, only to wind up in bunkers.

clever? or bleeding obvious.

I thought his third shot was excellent, I have no doubt that he aimed for a 3 foot circle and thats exactly where it went.

Bleeding obvious - yes. But watching Nitties and Allenby continually aim for the skinny parts of greens and fail to make the shot, one after the other, was a disgrace. If you think of it, they only had to shoot 71 and it's a playoff. They could have almost played Matchplay between themselves - if one failed to hit a green, the other should have aimed for the fattest part.

I thought Parry may have been aiming further left than where he wound up on 18. I stood behind his line for a brief moment coming up 18, it was the perfect position, effectively hitting away from the water.

i watched in slow mo, Paz's swing - it's so out to in it's amazing he hits 'em only slightly left to right.

in slow mo i was noticing Allenby teeing height, and even though he hovers to hit, when addressing he has only a smidgin (i love that word)... a smidgin of the ball above the top of the driver.
