Gents,

Likely I will sneak away from the office this Friday for a quick hit.

Likely it will be Single Stab.

Visitor fee I believe is $40 + $9 comp fee.

Register your interest here.

PS: it's a medley, so Shazza you are welcome...

Edit: there are 3 spots available.

You've timed it with the Dingo Hill that a few are playing, so you may have missed those not at work.

no biggie, can easily fill the slots with non ozgolfers.

I was keen to play the Dingo Hill, but can't get out of the office until around 12.

Plenty more Dingo Hill's to be played Rusty.

Not very often you get an open invite to Brissy G.C ;)

Moe Norman

it would appear I need to organise a game on a Sunday.

Problem is I can only take 3 guests at a time...

I might talk to the club early next year about getting 3 groups of 4 on a quiet Sunday if possible.

As for this friday, one spot is now filled - need two more!

Looks like I could fill one or both spots if they are still free. Can you confirm the vistors fee?

Moe Norman
11th December 2007, 07:33 PM
i can confirm that the visitors fee is approximately $40 and $9 for comp fee, thats what it was a month ago anyway...

if you're concerned, just give them a call and ask what the visitors fee is an mention that you are coming with a member.

PS: should I lock you in for 2 spots?

peter_rs
11th December 2007, 10:29 PM
the money is not a issuse just interested I was ment to play in a open members invite shotgun (or something) on the sat of river fire and was told the fee was $24 including comp fee.

Ok lock the other 2 spots in (if free).....

sold to Peter_RS!

The guest fee on a non-specified invitation day used to be $30 including comp fee. They have since changed it to a green fee of $40 + comp fee if playing comp.

If its a specified invitation day, I think they do a much cheaper rate.

Moe Norman

by the way, see you Friday!

I will get there around 12:15 at the earliest, if you beat me there just say you are my guest (assume you know my real name?!)

Does this count for Moe as a POTY win?

peter_rs
18th December 2007, 10:21 PM
started on 10 DQ but we played the temp course so does that count;)

Moe Norman
23rd December 2007, 12:45 AM
they must have mixed up the cards, golflink credits me with 33 points!

Dicky, we need to talk about the 9th, there is some mounding taking shape that has me and Phippsy very worried. the bunkers look like they might match those abominations over on the 7th...

Moe Norman
23rd December 2007, 08:36 AM
I certainly hope so, but the greenside bunkers have sand in them so I assume that means they are staying in their current horrible shape with containment mounding at the rear?

Moe Norman
23rd December 2007, 08:49 AM
I'm away til early Jan - but please report back regarding the false mounding short of the green and the large flashy bunker faces at the greenside rear with containment mounding.

(no doubt our committee love the mounding, so you can only please your client, even if they are clueless)
