Why would you be rewarded for missing a green? With this, 3 players might hit the green and only one winning the NTP. The 4th player misses the green, and makes a 2-putt from the fringe for a dot?!?

I would find it hard to hand over money to someone if this was the case.

Cheers for the game lads, it was a good morning out. Gailes is in great condition at the moment, and once they finish fixing all the fairways up, it wil be sweet. The 17th fairway is as good as anywhere.

Scored were pretty average in our group. Rusty was the winner for the day with 73. I'm not sure what the rest of the other group ended with, so will wait for Rusty to post final scores.

Unfortunately Vegas was the winner of the dots.

scores are up. thanks for the game Just, Billybaub and steverawlo. Billybaub's definitely changing putter after today. a chip in on the 2nd definitely helped my score. new 4wood (delivered late yesterday) hit 3 times and went like a charm. gee reading the grain on those greens as the day progresses gets tricky.

didnt think the course was playing that hard. Sure, the greens were a bit shaggy, but otherwise the fairways were great and there was hardly any wind and no rain.

Nudgee, i checked yesterday and you won the "Sponsors/Pro Pin" NTP on 6. the pro wasn't sure but said there might be a box of balls waiting for you upstairs in admin. that might ease the pain of the Vegas juggernaut.
