Normally I wouldn't look twice at a South Efrican tour event, even if it is a co-sanction with the Euro Tour and Ernie is playing.

BUT, I happen to know that Mikezone13 is not only visiting South Efrica shortly, but he is playing at Leopard Creek while he is there.

It is on Fox late at night this weekend, so I've had a look. The course looks Ok, and the wildlife (baboons, monkeys etc) is a bit out of the ordinary.

I look forward to Mike's report later on.

He must have been on holidays and wanted a round or 2...

Thought Norman was only playing in his own event, Shark Shootout. That is next weekend I think.

Norman is hosting the Merril Lynch Shootout, for about the 20th year in a row.

Not 100% playing there, but 100% trying to, will know the full golf plan when I arrive, but I am staying at place on the dge of the Kruger Park that organises games for guests at Leopard Creek, so will more than likely part with the 1,500 ZAR to play there.

1,500 ZAR

Is actually more

1,500.00 ZAR

=

254.167 AUD

Lot of money for a golf game.

Yep is a lot, especially when you also take into account the half dozen balls I'll lose and the shirts/hats that are bought as 'memento's' ;)

Yeah, but how often are you gonna get the chance to play there?

Exactly, probably every 4 years though if the missus has her way and we go back to SA 'frequently'.
